omg ipod bricked

    my ipod 2nd gen is bricked i tried to jailbreak it and now it wont reconized what shall i do HELP!

    It's not bricked.. but when that happened to me, I just put it into recovery mode.. but don't rely on my answer.

    Actually, might have to boot the sh*t. I can't help you any further.

    u cant brick a ipod...
    just plug it in, hold down home for 5 secs
    home and power for 10 secs
    and then keep holding home until itunes shows up

    After you jailbroken you NEED to run a boot tool to boot it. If not it'll stay black.

    Ah thanks that helped me... So basically just do the opposite of what you do to get into DFU mode in the first place? (ex: hold home and power for 10 seconds, then hold home for 5)

    No, you hold home + sleep for 10 seconds, then let go of sleep and only hold home until you hear the "beep boop" or whatever noise saything that the iPod is connected to the computer, then run boothelper.

    did you do what I said? Release as soon as you hear the beep reconnecting your iPod to the computer.

    Yes every time i try the apple symbol just pops up then takes a long time to load but its not picked up by itunes.

    do you hav an aim or sumthin so u could probably walk me through this? This is very unnerving.
