okay, im pretty new to the iphone, cause its my cousins.
but i ran into some problems. oh ya, he has windows vista.
okay, i restored and upgraded to 1.1.4 and used the latest version of ZiPhone to jailbreak. and all was well for a while, he installed some apps. and then he told me that when he was calling people, he knew that they could hear him but they couldnt hear him. so ya, thats a problem.

& my other problem was how to install SMBPrefs and Customize for 1.1.4.
i cant ssh into his iphone because he doesnt have wifi.

    thanks!!!!!

this is why you use iLiberty+ over ziphone because you dont come up with any problems. also iLiberty+ has a fix for no wifi/bluetooth/edge which ziphone users experience

Just make sure you use recovery mode, and not DFU mode when you restore if you use iLiberty+.

Restoring with DFU mode and then jailbreaking with iLiberty+ may cause freezing on your touch.

Restore the iPhone and try again. I have used ZiPhone flawlessly with no problems at all.
