    Code:
    rm /Users/Your Directory Name Here/.ssh/known_hosts
    Type that into Terminal.

If you use SSH for anything else (i.e. not your iPod), don't do this.

That was very well put. I wish I could be having SSH problems with my nonexistent Mac.

Sorry, I don't have a Windows machine, and I have no idea where the known hosts file is. If you want to search around for known_hosts, I'd try that. I'd also try completely uninstalling your SFTP/FTP client and then reinstalling it.

    I'll look into it now.

What is the file extension of known_hosts?

It is giving me a plain text (.txt) extension, but it probably isn't that, being that it is... well, not meant to be a text file.

i just downloaded openssh through cydia.. tried connecting with winscp.. took around 1-2 minutes with an error stating there's a change of key and security breach.. just press yes and you're in

    that tutorial is over complicated

    in the Terminal just type
    rm /Users/Andrew/.ssh/known_hosts

replace Andrew with the name it tells you in the error message.

rm means remove, so this will delete the file and it will work fine next time you try

also another tip, you don't have to type ssh root@192.168.0.2 whatever, you can just type ssh root@NameofiPod.local
so my iPod is named neue so i put neue.local, most people leave it named iPod so should use iPod.local.
