omfg someone help me please :(

    my iPod touch felt on water and now my screen is like full of water on the inside I try to dry it and some of it went away. Now there's opacity on some edges and the whole bottom part is there anything I can do? Can I open the iPod and dry it all up? If so how do you open it. Please someone help me out

    Throw it really high up into the air, if you get it close enough to the sun it will be dried by the kinetic energy coming from the sun and it will be fixed.

    You may as well try. Water damage isnt covered. DONT TURN IT ON!!!! Oh and check this out. It may help.

    I spilled coffee on mine and the screen turned white and it was non responsive and I couldn't even turn it off so I let the battery die then it worked. Also apple can tell that you dropped the Touch in water because there is a piece of litmus paper in the headphone jack. And it turns a different color then white when it comes in contact with a liquid.

    Damn, thats some serious paranoia.

    Open it up. Let it dry out. Hopefully it wasnt salt walter. You may just be okay, just give it a good week open, then try and turn it on.

    First Let it dry over night and keep it not charging. And if that doesn't work use 16GBofmagic's suggestion.

    just leave it out for a couple of days and do NOT plug it in. then try turning it on in a few days. also, i wouldnt try opening it up personally. pics would be great. hope it works out for you.

    i heard something about a humidifier, but you always could just stick it in a bowl of rice it works...dry rice (obviously)
