Hoooooooow? I can't even run bioshock on the highest quality but i can run crysis perfectly on medium? Also what confuses me is it has a windows index rating of 5.0 but Devil may cry 4 has 5.6 but i can run Devil may cry perfectly, crysis i have a bit of an issue doing on high (i'm sure anyone would) but i can't believe it will run on medium!!

Im not even using a gaming rig PC, it's just a normal PC , granted it's new and super clean (i.e no viruses or illegal stuff like limewire) but it shouldnt be able to run crysis should it? im wondering now whether this "crysis needs a super computer" stuff really is just rumours??

i might buy it just because its actually a pretty cool game, its like far cry but with a better story in a way and i love the things like super strength and u can flip cars into the air, that looks totally epic...

    Medium is hideous, that's why.
I play it on high on my MBP, and that makes it sweat.

medium is still really good graphically, like the water and explosions and stuff, idc about graphics anyway its the physics in this game that make it super process-heavy isn't it?

OK, true, but bump it up to high and you'll see why it makes most PCs sweat

Remember, crysis isn't exactly that recent a game any more. When it came out, you needed a super computer, but tech has moved on since then.

It's not a surprise you can run it on medium. Anything above an 8600 will run it on medium. Now try and turn on AA and see what happens. I bet you can't run it on low with even 4xAA.

Agreed. My 8600gt can't handle dx9 medium specs well. Multiplayer is okay though.

I can run it on high. I think. I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor with an ATI Radeon X1900 graphics card, 3 gigs of DDR3 (I think) RAM, and 512 MB of RAM on the GCard
