I've looked all over for an answer, but does anyone know if the Touch 3g has the oleophobic screen coating that is on the iPhone 3GS?

I'm not to sure, but I think it does. I've noticed much less crap on my screen compared to the 2G/1G. Also it doesn't come with a cleaning cloth :|

It might have. It feels different compared to 2G.

Yeah what's up with that? No cleaning screen? wtf Not a big deal, but seriously. They're like 0.1 cent to manufacture.

That makes sense. But for me I wouldn't use a screen protector because the Ipod touch's screen is scratch proof anyway ( Or hard to scratch ) so an oleophobic screen would be nice.

i don't believe the scratch proof thing because my little 1G buddy (which was stolen last october) screen broke just by a miniscule pebble
