[Old Tethered] Fixed battery, now boot...

    Hi!

Yesterday, my iPod touch 2G 16GB tethered JB died..
I think because of a low battery....
BUT, I wanted to reboot it. Into JB FW.
But I can't get it into DFU mode, it just does nothing.
I've charged my iPod all night long.
    No result...
    Someone has a fix?

    Thnx!

(PS: I've searched, but didn't came along a topic like this one...)

    ______---UPDATE--_____
    Got into DFU! (yay)
DLoaded 2G boot tool, boots. (yay)
Once booted, connect to iTunes screen (boo).
I don't want to lose my JB stuff...
    How can I fix this?

Does your tray still pop up when you plug in the iptouch2? "Unrecognized Device" I had similar experience when I wanted to finally put my tethered into untether, somehow my touch wouldnt boot back up at that exact moment, even with charge. I had not have any problems prior. I tried several times before I got it to respond and boot up. I say you try the same thing.

When the connect to itunes screen is showing just open a cmd inside the folder with irecovery, then do:

    irecovery -s
    clearenv 1
    setenv boot-path
    setenv auto-boot true
    saveenv
    reboot

Trying getting a hold of either a car, wall charger. I heard charging through an Xbox is even possible.
