ok rescently my ipod got bricked couldnt touch any buttons etc... because of the Dock app, now i dont like Ziphone i like the old school method that i have always used posted here

    http://jailbreak.imackid.net/Outdated_Instructions.html

after i get to jailbreaking 1.1.3 it does its thing downloads the files and jailbreaks it but when its done, the first thing that appears is the Restore picture with the Itunes logo and USB cable, and there is a Battery icon in the top left but thats all i see no unlock slider. i already restored it twice doing exactly what the Tut sais and no luck? i mean it worked flawlessly before and now its giving me BS. and i ran out of warranty which sucks so i cant take it back to Futureshop. like when i restore to 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 and jailbreak it, no problems only when i get to the last step it F*$#ks up

Why don't you just use iLiberty+/ZiPhone to jailbreak to Firmware 1.1.4

It's much more simple and is the most recent firmware!

If I remember correctly, the "Official 1.1.3 Upgrader" isn't a jailbreak, but a soft upgrade.

Soft Upgrades only upgrade software, so you aren't on 1.1.3 and it is much more unstable/not a true jailbreak. There is a reason why it is outdated.

I would recommend 1.1.3/1.1.4 with Ziphone, iLiberty, or WinPWN/Pwnage. These are true jailbreaks and the latter are "pwning" your iPod to run unsigned code, so custom firmwares.

All your decision though, so good luck
