    Hello.

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section, if I do so, please move the thread to the correct section

I've got this old remote I bought for my iPod Mini 2G, and I tried to use it with my iPhone 3G, but It won't work.

Get the message "This accessory is not compatible with iPhone" or something like that.

So I wonder if there is anyway to get it to work with it?

Any recommendation for a good remote that would work with the iPhone 3G and the 4?

The pinouts are probably different - that is why it won't work.
I would suggest getting a new headset with a remote already on the cord.

I am very happy with my IDR655m.

Original old Apple Radio Remote works perfectly with every iOS device. U must just very slow plug little rotated (right part first) dock connector into device. Then iOS don't recognizing Remote and let him work like usual dock.
