    hey people,

I would really like to know if there is a way to get the old 3D dock from firmware 1.0 back. I have a jailbroken ipod touch 1st Gen. with firmware 2.2.1.
I think the old dock 3D dock with reflections is way cooler than that grey/silver new one.

Please help i really want it
    thanks.

starting from 1.1.3 it became iphone style dock

to get back reflecting dock go in cydia and search dock
scroll down and there should be something called reflective dock

it will slo u down a bit

in 1.1.3 they made it so its the metal thing since thats when they allowed everybody to move their icons around and apple was too lazy to make a live reflection extention

Here's the 1.1.1 dock image. Use it with reflections and it'll look like the original dock.

    Got SSH installed, right?

    /private/var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx

Create a folder here, name it whatever you want, we'll say "Old Dock.theme"

Inside the new folder, place the image (named Dock.png). Apply the "Old Dock.theme" in Winterboard and respring.

    1. Open cydia
    2. Click search on the bottom
    3. Search for reflective dock
    4. Scroll down to "r"
    5. Download and install reflective dock
    6. Respring

Yes, it's called OpenSSH. You'll also want SBSettings or a similar app to toggle it.

You need an FTP client as well, if you're on a PC, use WinSCP, it's free and works like a charm: http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9978

yeah i will. ok so ssh to like library/themes or something like that havnt done it in a while. then make a new folder w/ watever name u want, then save that image in the folder and name it Dock.png then go into winterboard and select that theme you just made (and unselect all your other themes (excpet reflective dock)) and then itll respring, then itll all be good.

if u have another theme that you like and that has a dock, just switch the files out for eachother and itll work.

ok openshh is in cydia, but if u cant find it then go to the home page and scroll down till it says like howto openssh then there will be a direct link to download it. then just google winscp and download it. its grt.

    then open winscp
type in the ipods ip adress which needs to match ur comps
then type in user: root pass: alpine
then connect and yeah. its all good.
