    I'm running the them "Abeo"
And i have a few extra blank icons.
Sooooo i decided to delete them.
I click on the "X" and my ipod freezes for a few seconds.
Then i see my lock screen with a backround of a little cartoon.
An iphone with tears coming out of its eyes.
So i unlock and i get the message "Springboard has crashed"
    Icons are everywhere.
    So i reboot.
    It took a few minutes.
But i was back to normal.
SCARED THE **** OUT OF ME.

So.. does anyone care to explain? Because it almost seemed like a prank to me. The background was mocking me

Safe mode, you can safely delete the blanks this way. Basically only loads the core springboard.

Don't worry, it's fine. Delete your blank icons in Safe Mode though.

How have you never been in Safe Mode?
I've crashed into Safe Mode so many times...
