    Windows Xp Prof
    week 37 ipod touch


    Whenever i restart my ipod for the first time i get this message upon hitting enter:

    /etc/fstab modification not completed successfully!


    Whats going on ?

    fstab looks like its edited wrong pull it back off and match it with someones make sure its dead on with someonne else look at the guide with the 74 step process and make sure IMO.

    Open it with notepad and post it here ill match it up..

    I have the same problem every time. I will to try it to hack on another PC where no itunes is installed.

    Sorry vor my english i'm from germany.

    im not doing the 74step method now im using the windows hack by planet being aka touchfree.exe and its giving me that error?

    Did you reboot your ipod like it said to (hold in the sleep button and slide it to off) and then turn it on again, let it boot completely up and hit enter?

    aaaaahhhh no i only hold the sleep bottun till the turn off slide came on and slide it off.

    Yes i did. i even downloaded the latest version and still no luck.

    So... i also tryed to hold the home button and the Sleep button to reboot but the problem is still there....
