    Alright

I am trying to jailbreak my first generation iPod Touch 8GB. It is running 3.1.3. I have a Mac OSX 10.6.2.

I have read the stickies, tried everything. Tried blackrain and that messed up epically. Pwnage tool kept crashing. It would be much appreciated if someone would explain to me what exactly to do!

    Thanks!!

I used 0.9.2 (some other thread said that the older version was for the older ipods)

Let me try again with .4 and i'll get back to you with the results. Cheers for the help by the way

    Same 'unable to recognize' message.

The file I am pointing it to is located in ~username/library/itunes/iPod Software Update/___.

    Any help?
