Ok so my ipod is stuck in recovery even after i tried to use dfu..

    ok so i jailbroke my ipod 2g so long ago on 3.1.2 i belive i dont remember that one or one before.. well i letmy brother use it and he tried using spirit to to turn it on.. (it was tehtherd) and it did turn on but nothing in cydia was in my dl list and my app store apps were all messed up.. so it died and then blackra1n wouldnt turn it on and neither will spirit (it might work but wont recognize my ipod) so i want to restore and go to ios4 anyway..

    but no programs will recognize my ipod at all.. but the ipod is plugged in and the recovery image is being displayed.. and i tried dfu mode and itunes still wont work so please someone help..

    and i have been on here a while so im not a huge noob.. i just havnt been on since right when ios4 was coming out..

    try these steps here

    remember if you are using irecovery, rslite or recboot, install libusb first.

    You have an MC iPod that doesn't support any of those programs.

    DFU mode on a different computer.

    download the firmware umbrella and there's a function in that to kick it out of recovery mode.

    i dfu'ed on 3 computers so not the problem.. and ill try the umbrella athing.. if it doesnt work im gonna go kick a cat and take the think to radio shack because im under warranty.. x) i hope..

    the computer wont recognize me ipod?! like the ipod screen turns on and its in recovery.. and it has been plugged in for 3 days like that so its getting power.. and when i unplug it the screen turns off aftr awhile but none of my computers recognize that it was plugged in.. D:

    I was stuck in that once. Try and run your jailbreak program again with your ipod plugged in. It worked for me that one time.
