I know that it means that everytime it restarts it will no longer be jail brokne. But does it also clear out songs and official app store apps? (i searched and couldnt find this answer and could only find tutorial stickys)

No after you sync your iPod through iTunes after the jailbreak they (music and apps) remain on the ipod.

When you restart, it does not remove the jailbrake.. you just need to put it in DFU mode and repatch it to turn it back on.

And everything remains intact. Your songs/apps won't go away.

Ok so. I jail break. I sync. I listen for awhile. And if it shuts off:

    A) The music and regular apps stay but the theme and stuff go back to normal
    or
    B) The music and regular apps stay and so does the theme. But the other apps(like cydia) are gone

    Are either of those correct?

Does it auto go to DFU or do I put it there myself?

You have to put it in DFU mode, by the way.
