I just got the 3.0 upgrade for my 1st gen nonJB'd ipod touch. I was trying out shake to shuffle and I noticed that the volume bar seems to be more than a tad... NOT THERE

How do I get to it?

Since the 3.0 update, all iDevices now require some sound system to be plugged in/wirelessly connected to display the volume bar. (iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3GS have a built in speaker, and so does the iPod Touch 2G)

PS. If you really want the volume bar, jailbreak, get sbsettings, and install the volume slider (which does not disappear without sound system plugged in)
