So after much research and comparisons, I purchased 500 minutes for $10 from sipphone.com aka gizmo5. Everything works ok except the microphone gain is very high. I modded an Macally iVoice mic and the sound seems to be overamplified. Reminds me of one those spy gadgets that allows you to hear whispers 30 feet away. What I would like to know is... if I solder a resistor in line between C16 (3.3 volt) to R24, would that lower the gain? If not does anyone have a sugestion on how to do this? Maybe a software control of some kind? I dont know much about resistors but will research in the mean time. I am using firmware 1.1.4 and Siphon.
