    I was jailbreaking my ipod touch and I was at the last step where I had to do windows.bat and I checked Install SSH and clicked Jailbreak! and 1 second into the installation, it said "Cannot install because the ipod/iphone is not connected to the computer"(not exact words). My installer also is gone.

    Restore 1.1.1 -> Jailbreakme.com -> installer -> oktoprep - STOP. There is nothing i 1.1.2 you need.

    EDIT:
    I have just installed oktoprep, so do I plug my iPod into the computer and update?

    Usually, if you ignore that box saying the iPod/iPhone is not connected, the batch file will keep running anyway. The error is caused by iPhuc (which has been modified). I've gotten that error everytime I've JailBroken my iPod.

    Good luck,
    Skylar

    Thank you, I am updating to 1.1.2 right now.

    One last question, do I check Install SSH?

    You absolutely want to install SSH. At least, you want to install it if you ever plan on accessing your iPod externally.

    And pelase don't Double Post.

    Sorry, Anyways.

    I have Installer, and SSH on my Home screen. The windows.bat is still open with the last item saying "Rebooting Device". May I exit out of this?

    Also, is there anything to worry about after this?

    You should be fine now. Once oktoprep is installed the 1.1.2 is easy.
