oh oh!!

    i jail broke my ipod a few weeks ago but have been tring to add music and have been unable, when i hit synch in itunes it would say synching and then stop in a few seconds. so i tried to restore it throgh i tunes. would not let me.
    so...i tried to jailbreak again with ziblog and it went on and on for 30 minutes. so i stopped it and tried again.
    now... all i have on my ipod is the message. "start ipod stack can't start! need configuration"
    help!!!! i hope its not wrecked?

    i had that problem but it wasnt all the time. in fact, it was pretty rare. i think it was the physical connection to the ipod. that is, the plug on the bottom of the ipod.

    its an ipod touch that i have. i think iam in the right section? i jailbroke using ziphone.
    the program iam using is- ziphone gui v3.0
    presently under the box that says information it says searching for i phone.the out put log has a growing green bar suggesting something is happening.

    any more info please ask
    i hope its not busted!!

    Actually, you need to be in the iPod General Tech Help forum, since this has NOTHING to do with jailbroken applications.

    But for the record, I'm going to suggest doing a DFU Restore to the latest firmware available on your iPod, then reinstall iTunes, then try synching your library again.
