    My iPod Touch 2g is stuck at the waiting for reboot thing. I re-plugged it in but to no prevail.

    Have you tried a DFU Restore to the regular 2.2.1 firmware first?

    If youre on vista, make sure you're running the redsn0w.exe file under winXP SP2 compatibility mode. I forgot to do that and the process always stuck on a 'waiting to reboot', until i fixed it.
