I got the white screen of death and it responded to touch but was just a white screen. Did a hard reset and its fine now. Will it happen again? I have had it for about a week and have had no issues. Its a 32 GB. Halp?

It could happen again, But I wouldn't be to worried there kind of hard to brick, what did you do up in till it turned to a white screen?

If you restored, I doubt it will happen again.

    Can't say for sure, though.

Then that's "frying" it, not "bricking" it with the software.

    That's not necessarily bricking.

well every computer we plugged it in to would not recgonize it, even in DFU mode, the logo would come up for a few seconds then it would restart, and in dfu mode it pretty much did nothing, and we tryed 5 different computers, it was an Ipod touch 2g 16 gb, it ran great up intill he fried it with his crappy usb port, and that wasn't the only thing he fried either, it took him a while before he realized he had a crappy usb port., not like it was the ipt fault at all.

so in no way am i saying it was the ipt fault, I've had the 1gen, 2nd gen and now 3rd gen Ipod touch, And I have never had a problem with any of them even when jail breaking, they have always preformed great.
