Hi I know this has been adressed before but this seems to be an intereting alternative to existing solutions. There is a tool called "sitescooper" which basically retrieves websites and converts them to different formats (e.g. html,...). It is based on perl, runs on unix-like and Windows plattform. and can be configured to parse only relevant information on a web site. More information here: http://sitescooper.taint.org Originally it was made for palmOne PDAs but I wonder if it would be possible to use it directly on the iPod Touch since there already is a Perl runtime environment. So, maybe one of the developers is up for a challenge and port it resp. can wrap it up in a nice GUI Please Register or Log in to view images What do you think ?
