I'm very new to the ipod touch. Just got one last month and it is 3.1.3, 8GB.

I have a lot of knitting and crochet patterns on my PC. They are pdf, word, and explorer web page files. Would it be possible for me to get these on my ipod? Would I have to convert them to all one file type?

I do not have wifi at home and only go about once a week to the library where there is a connection. I have played around with Evernote. Is there a better way to get these on my device for viewing later when I don't have a connection?

I really like the ipod touch, but am a little disappointed that document apps seem more geared to the iphones since they all seem to require an internet connection to work well. I would also love to be able to use excel on the touch and then sync to my PC and back again as the documents changed throughout the week.

    Thanks for any help.
