I am hoping for a iphone 4 release for tmobile. Then in Canada I can go to wind mobile (runs on same frequency as tmobile usa) with unlimited data and enjoy my ass off with the iphone 4......xD
Absolutely agreed. The only real problem I've had with my iPad (and iOS in general) is that apps on the same device can barely talk to each other, and anything outside the device itself has no practical way in. Sure, it's great for security, but there has to be some level of compromise. I wish I could type out a paper in Pages, then switch to my online class in Safari and upload it. I shouldn't have to export to iWork.com, download to Goodreader, upload to Dropbox, generate a public link, and hand that in to my teacher - but neither should I have to cut and paste my beautifully-formatted paper into a web form, where it turns into something unformatted and unreadable. Like everything else on iOS, this should just work. iCloud should be like Dropbox, but integrated into iOS 5 from the bottom up, syncing music, movies, pictures, documents, and so forth. You shouldn't need a PC anymore - at least not if you're just using it to sync your iDevices, which is the only reason mine still has desk space. Get a Time Capsule or something, hook it up to iCloud, and never sync again. And I'm really hoping iCloud will let me interface better with my classes! I don't need a full file system, just an iCloud API (like the one that already exists for photo uploading!) that Safari can access. Meh, I'm pretty sure I'm just regurgitating rumours and wishes that already abound. It's officially 6 June all across North America - just over 8 hours to wait here on the west coast! My alarm is set for 9am so I can catch all the pre-WWDC action here on iFans.
