No worries, I make the same mistakes. Man, reminds me of when I used to be a mod at AndroidCentral. I said one thing wrong and a group of people jumped on me. :/ I really don't know what to think about this WWDC. I'm kinda neutral on this one so I'll save my opinions until it actually starts rolling. It's almost here!
There were only two things I was looking forward to in June: graduation and WWDC. I cannot wait until tomorrow. I hope Steve Jobs surprises everybody at the end with 'did you guys think we would unviel iOS without a device to maximize it's full potential?' And then he pulls out a beautiful iPhone 5 from his pocket. or something like that.
I hear whole iOS thing is really all about Voice Control, and having an iPhone and iPod Touch without the home "button". Which is fine and dandy but that just might cause trouble for jailbreakers, because you need a home button to jailbreak. DUH. So.. I'm like 50-50 about this new iOS Firmware.
I see what you're saying but you can have them on separate pages. I have about 250 apps, and they're all organized among 19 folders (with Infinifolders). With Infiniboard they're all on one page, just as my pre-installed apps are. And I keep my Cydia apps on another page, for a total of 3 pages. So if you're willing to spare a couple pages for widgets then it should work out fine. But then again, we don't know if the widgets will be on the actual SpringBoard. But active/dynamic icons would be awesome. You're right. But for this event, we don't expect the whole lineup of iOS devices to get upgraded. So for now we still have our home button. But if they ever do eliminate the home button, I think they might make it touch/tap sensitive. So you don't have to physically push it down.
