    sorry for the double post but think about it if the president of google or whatever was discribing it (aparently he saw a sneak peak thier not going to do completly something else
    it would make him look stupid and trust me apple doesn't want that
    i'm not disagreeing with jimbean but apple has seen the netbook market and they want in even if it's not their style.

    Nah, no new iPod. September is a good schedule for new iPods because Apple gets the initial rush of sales when it is first released, and another rush of sales a few months down the line when the gift-giving season rolls in.

    Ha. Apple just released a Boot Camp updated today to support Windows 7 and sadly it didn't fix the sound problems. Only diver update I noticed was for Nivida.

    ok so all of this talk of 4.0 is getting me excited, i un-jailbroke last month because my ipod was getting slow, and now if 4.0 has backgrounding i wont have a reason to jailbreak again (i guess that's apple's goal right?), what do you think the price for the update will be for ipod touch users? if i recall all the major updates have cost $10 right? i bought my ipod gift card today so i can download it asap if it happens, if not ill just buy some more new apps lol
    also i would be surprised if a tablet type thing wasnt announced, but im not that interested in one anyways. id rather be able to fit it in my pocket like an iphone, i might consider it if it really blows me away but i cant say that im all that excited for it.
    bring on the 4.0!! :D

    I want iSlate!

    I think apple is definently going to release some kind of Macbook touch type tablet. If they do than I would buy it. I think because ipod touch is 200$ and Macbook is a grand, the price will fall between 700 and 1000 dollars if it is a slow processor(1.5 GHz). If it is a Macbook Pro type tablet(which I think it is) the price would be somewhere between 1200$ and 1900$. I also think apple will do a small upgrade to the Macbook Pro( and possibly Macbook) like new price, more memory, new software update,etc.

    BUT I WANT ISLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Here is something I would almost bet a large amount of money on, Apple will not release a tablet. If they release anything similar to a tablet... it will be a laptop that has touch screen capabilities.

    The iSlate will not exist anytime soon, if ever.. I guarantee it. If I am wrong, my jaw will drop.. as its retarded.

    I really have no idea what will come out on the 27th, I hope for some 4.0 preview.. and with that full bluetooth for the ipod touch. That is all I care about.
