    Hi all,

Few days ago the idroid team released the first official v1.0 version of idroid wich runs on android versio 2.2 also called froyo.

    Some of the changes:
    Pre-rooted
ultrasn0w is now implemented in the ril library in android, so everyone should have carrier unlock.
SD Emulation now complete for Froyo - without market issues. (/private/var/sdcard)
    WiFi on boot (once configured)
Accelerometer driver android side fixed, no longer gets stuck after lockscreen
    DTMF Tones

they have set up a bug tracker system to view at http://dev.idroidproject.org

If you find any bugs please report them there.

Little note for iphone 2g users. Adb goes over usb instead of wifi. 3g iphone users do not have this issue.

PS i tested it, on some minor bugs it works good so far. Bit slow due to no GPU support yet. Calling works fine. Sound works just fine and sdcard emulation is just great. Just upload your files to /var/sdcard and do a mediascan ( devtools/mediascan at your apps list )

Probably a few runaway processes which would possibly nag the battery live, not too harshly though, as soon as everything is supported it'll probably be great.

Well I remember Power Management wasn't working properly before, so the battery would drain in a couple hours.

iPod version is now available. Installed the Openiboot 0.1.1 but then used the Bootlace app to do the automatic install of iDroid for me instead of the manual steps. Worked great.
