This is the official thread for the iCoders DevTeam, please discuss anything about our team, Wiki: https://icoders.wikidot.com/ this has lots of info also

    Completed Projects:

    iPod/iPhone string changer:

This app is an early replacement for Customize. Many more features are to come in the next version. It changes strings (files to N00Bs) and edits springboard. This app was coded by Josh Rose, with suggestions from a few of his friends. Link

    Current Projects:

    iPodUtil:

This windows app takes everything available in terms of jailbreaking and puts it all into one program. It does everything, while we still need help, we need a C++ dev for the next version, as we are moving onto very advanced stuff, and also an expert in USB connections. The app made by Josh Rose will also be implemented. The main dev is simonrichards150, but VBman213 and Josh Rose are helping him also.

    Firefox for iPhone:

This is a themed version of Safari which looks just like firefox. It's made by h_picko and is expected to be released as soon as proper app skinning is allowed on 2.0.

A USB connections person that knows a lot about USB between iPhone and PC, is required. We are looking for people who use the SDK to make apps, to be an Obj C Dev so that we can put apps on the mobile device.

All of that has already been achieved or is really unnecessary We DO NOT need nor do we WANT another dav team kinda thing.... I had the first idea back in September to make a dev team and now I truly wish I had never started the concept. Except for the real dev team that is.

And how is a string changer going to replace customize? Why try to replace something that is 100x more capable?

and the specialists you are asking for... you are practically asking someone to write the Application for you?

And again... you edited your post to ask for people who actually develop. This is going to go nowhere at all lol

all the devteams have gone onto the SDK to make money, so there ain't all that many that are in the JB community, as for the app by josh rose, you obviously ain't used it, or else you would have noticed that it does a bit more.

I really don't know why you knock us, we just want to enhance our product, and it's a bit difficult to learn a programming language in 2 weeks and then implement complicated stuff into an app. Stop whining man.

    A dev team creates competition
    Competition creates innovation
Innovation leads to invention (cool apps)
Invention (cool apps) will benefit all of us

Whining is far from what I'm doing. more/less ranting. the better thing to do would be to actually learn the language (take your time), THEN try to do something. The fact that you make a "team" then ask for coders is slightly embarrassing. what product? you made an app that can take all of those .plist options and *gasp* write an xml formatted .plist. I just don't wanna see 50 billion threads like we are used to seeing. It's annoying. Be independent, it's better in the end.

yeah this is a waste of threadness. there are a gazillion dev teams, only a few of which actually contribute, and dont just release jiggy apps or themes or whatever. im feeling not so good about "iCoders"

kinda harsh .. i dont understand your guys' anger towards them... I am pretty new to this community but I dont see a problem with people wanting to develope apps for the jb community... i myself dont make alot of money and cant just go buying crap from apple. hell they have taken alot of my money allready with songs and buying the damn thing. I say if someone wants to break out and make cool stuff for free... hell yes i support it fully. I hope you guys dont give up because some people are flaming you.
