Could somebody tell me all the off-the-shelf mics that work for Sip-VOIP for iPod Touch?
The TouchMods mic is the only one, but it's real damn expensive ($50 + Shipping). You can get an iVoice III at Wal-Mart and mod it a bit though, that will work, and you save alot of money.
Yeah I know it is expensive. Would you prefer the iVoice III instead of the Touchmods mic? Is the sound quality any different? I looked on Walmart's U.S. website and it didn't show up as a result. Do they sell it anymore?
Also, I don't have a soldering gun. Is there any other way to connect the wire to the chips on the iVoice III?
1. Touchmods mic is way better than the walmart mic (big sound quality difference)
2. You can only get a iVoice III at a SuperWalmart
3. i have no idea about the soldering gun, i have never used one.
to sum it up:
buy a touchmods mic
Well I would buy a Touchmods mic, but I don't have a credit card. I'm only 15 and my parents won't let me. But I do have enough money for a mic.
niether do i have a credit card
i used paypal
Don't you need a credit card to have a paypal account?
i think there's some alternative, sort of knock off mic. it functions the same, but costs like 30 or something. ipodtouchmaster has it
Ok. I purchased the iVoice III but the one I have looks different than the one touchmods has. Can somebody help me?
