Does anyone use a generic wall charger for their 4G touch? If so, what kind, and do you notice any problems with it? I had a Apple branded charger that my friend let me borrow, but gave it back to her since she just bought a 4G touch herself. I don't wanna pay $30 for an Apple charger, so I'm on a search for a good generic that wont fry my iPod!

Obviously I can charge via computer, but I love the quick charging from the wall chargers.

I use an unbranded, generic, USB charger that I bought off of amazon for a penny. I would give you a brand name, but it has none...

I was using a monster wall charger. But it started to have some problems with my 4G so I'm just using my alarm clock iPod dock and it works just fine.

Just ordered one from eBay, the one as pictured in the first pic.

$2.74 including shipping, not bad, let's hope it works and doesn't blow my iPod up. Maybe I'll test it with my brothers nano first, lol.

This might sound ironic, but I am using the usb wall charger that came with my zune dock. If you have a zune usb brick charger (which gives the same Volts and Amp as the actual Apple charger), you might want to give it a shot.

If you like to get one free, go here: http://www.clubbing.com/Pages/Prize...ies&tab=all prizes&fbid=7aab5iyC2t3&wom=false

If you play your cards right, and use tomorrow 2x ticket day, it will take you one week to earn the charger, due the daily ticket cap (google the best methods on how the play the games XD).

Good! I get so worried about generic chargers. How do I know it's a 5V output?

Another question... will generic chargers overcharge the Touch? I know certain chargers know when the device is full, so they stop charging, but I'm wondering if a generic one will overcharge?

I WISH MY FRIEND WOULDNT HAVE TAKEN THE GENUINE APPLE CHARGER BACK!
