How do I enable the numeric battery, I can't find it in the settings
Numerical Battery can only be enabled on iPhones with iPhone OS 3.0 installed. If you have one, you can go to Settings > Usage to enable it. iPod touch users cannot officially enable it but if you have a jailbroken device search in Cydia for BossPrefs and enable it through there. Hope this helps!
I have a question regarding this. I had boss pref installed and have removed it but the numerical battery level is still there. Any ideas as to why it would remain? I've respringed and restarted.
The numeric battery is such a cool feature found in the old-school Palm OS handhelds... Too bad it cannot be set in non-JB iPod touches... Please Register or Log in to view images

It can be set in non-JB touches. You gotta decrypt the IPSW, mount the DMG, make changes to the files. Re-create the IPSW. Restore to your iPod.
Lol. it would be faster to just jailbreak it.
Numeric Battery in SBSettings would be the easiest.
not quite shure in which manner you ment that statement, but if you ment enabling it through SBSettings then i agree fully,
Open SBSettings>click more>click extras&options>enable numeric battery
although I dislike that it now still shows the battery, i liked it before when it replaced the battery
Oh sweet i hadn't realised they changed it, imo its better now Please Register or Log in to view images especially i think it looks natural now and has the % symbol.. Please Register or Log in to view images cheers ^^
