    I'm running Windows XP SP3
    I have a Untethered Jailbroken iPod Touch 2G 2.2.1

I've seen lots of people who have gotten the BSOD, and my parents would get sooooo mad at me if I screwed up my computer

So will I need libusb anymore? I might occasionally change my boot logo w/ my NOR flash ipsw, but I don't think I need libusb to restore/go into recovery mode, right? I'd like to uninstall it....

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks.
If I need to rejailbreak, will I need to reinstall libusb?

as long as you don't use irecovery after uninstall you won't have any problems

xp sp3 has no problems with libusb. Its the vista os thats getting bsods!
anyways if u are on vista, run libusb in compatibility mode.
Also even if u get bsod, u can always reformat ur hard drive and install a fresh copy of xp.

try plugging in a flash drive to ur usb port. i.e. check if ur usb ports still work.
