if you un-zip a .ipa file, and explore, you find a "Payload" then "INSERT GAME NAME HERE.app" inside there, there is a folder called "_CodeSignature". possible the protection on the Ipod itself. in the first directory, there is a file called "iTunes metadata.plist" that contains all your account+personal information...........

i downloaded a ******* of monkeyball... its legit, but anyways, when i unzip it there is no _codesignature folder... but im not concerened about that at the moment. one thing i noticed though is the Monkey Ball.app folder now 180 mb... thats huge!!! the app unzipped is only 30mb. so even if i did get rid of DRM and sshed it into my ipod it would take up so much space

EDIT: the iTunesMetadata.plist is just outside the payload folder

I downloaded a different ******* of monkeyball that contained the app itself .ipa but from what I am reading(since I don't have FW 2.0 yet) it asks for some kind of authorization from the original owner..is there a way around that?

If it can't be done, who started this crazy rumor that it could be done..boosting all our hopes for no reason..oh well..if it's too good to be true, it probably is
