hey guys i have an iphone 3g thats jailbroken with winpwn 2.1. I installed an application in cydia called 'app store patch 2.1'. after the installation was done it said i had to respring the board so i did, but it took a very long time, so i just left it there. When i came back to check it, it was restarted to the pineapple logo and after a while it would restart again, but it wont pass that stage. I've read around that there is a way for me to bypass this without restoring my phone because i have some stuff in my phone that i badly need. restoring is my last option !!! so any help would be appreciated, thanks

Well basically what happens is you installed that 2.1 patch which is supposed to patch your mobile installation so yo can install cracked apps :O . That video I showed you is the only fix, your supposed to put back the original mobile installation file. If that didnt work then you did something wrong in the steps, But other then that Id recommend you just restore sorry :O

do you have open SSH installed on your ipod? if you do, you can use winSCP so that you can transfer the files that you need and back it up after you restore.

2nd option is diskaid. use it to backup your files.

    SEARCH, SEARCH and SEARCH.

update: here is how you fix it. 100% working
