So I have 3.0 on my ipod and it synced, but my music doesnt show up. I looked at how much free space was on my ipod and it said only 2GB, my music took up the other 14 GB. So my music is on the ipod, but why wont it show up in the music player?

yeah that happened to me, you might have like skipped some of the sync or messed it up.

    just resync it.

Same thing for me, i would sync up all 30GB of music on my 2G, and then it wouldnt finish the sync. iTunes would crash, and no music showing on iPod. Its way buggy. Cuz sometimes i could get music to show up. and other times i couldnt. way way buggy.

Wait for the next release of the beta, thats what im doing.

or just use Truveo instead of YouTube.

and for the sync, just put all your songs into a user-created playlist, and sync that playlist. make sure internet is off.

Trying rebooting your device. If that fails, try resyncing it again but following the following measure:

    1. Close iTunes
    2. Turn off your device
    3. Disable iTunes from accessing the net
    4. Open iTunes
    5. Connect your device while off
    6. Once iTunes recognizes the device, allow iTunes to connect to the internet again
    7. Sync your device.

If that doesn't work then I do not see any other solutions besides downgrading back to 2.2.1. If you are NOT on a development team, then it's because you are doing it illegally and will only run into problem after problem like this.
