Is it possible to have tabs like on all other browsers?
My iPad arrives in 3 weeks, but I already want answers.

I don't think so because the other way is more touch friendly.

Well, scrolling though 3 billion tabs with that Tab+ addon isn't productivity friendly.

You can get Atomic Browser, which will let you do just that, along with fullscreen webbrowsing. But in my opinions, you are better off just browsing one page at a time, unless you absolutely need to have 3 billion tabs open all at once and never update any of them.

It is possible, but why would you need it. Unless you sold a laptop by any chance and want to use your iPad as your main 'Interface'

I plan to use it as I used my netbook. And why not? I just like tabs more.

Well, because... unless it's a music tab, lyrics, or something like that... Then the rest of the web always updates its contents nowadays. Like... this place for example. The forums will get updated frequently, and a tab never reloads itself unless you set it to do so. And if you end up reloading a tab anyway, then why not just reload it altogether and not use tabs to begin with? You save about 12 pixels or so of screen height and you don't have to deal with degraded performance over time when tabs do too many things on the background. Plus you always end up looking at only one page at a time.

But don't mind me. There are web browsers on the app store that will take care of your needs just fine.

Atomic Browser is really good and does provide multi tab browsing. However, I too, am not so keen.....up to you. At least you have the option.

Yeah I agree that Atomic Browser is the best for tabbed browsing. Well it's still up to you. We're not holding you back!
