Why!?!?! I'd successfully jailbreak his iPod, and it can turn on with computer.

Next day, I returned it to my friend. Then I taught him how to turn it on, and use SSH. After, he told me in MSN and he want to turn it on. He tried to go into DFU mode. Like this "Hold both button for 10 seconds. Then release the power button and continue to hold the home button for more than 6 seconds until it show the recovery mode message in iTunes." He's using 1Click Boot but it works before then it's doesn't work (not turning on). He get really pissed!! I got very upset about not turning on. I'm want it working so bad. Now I going to grab my portable knife and cut my wrist!!!

    Remember...
    -DFU failed!!!
    -Using 1Click Boot.

    HELP!!!!!!!!! I need it working!!!!!!

    Unplug and try again,

Remember that to get into DFU you have to be precise. Hold power and home button for 10 seconds, then release power button(top one) and hold for another 10-15. You should hear some sounds coming from you computer.

There's been tons of threads saying that getting into DFU mode is not possible. They're usually wrong, and don't panic.

lmaoay. you should only work on your own things, and not other peoples. your only asking for trouble. he is prob not as smart as you (ssh and all). can you restore it to original firmware? if so get it back there and leave it there.

He can't restore if he can't access DFU mode, which is what he's asking.

There's no such thing as DFU failing. Tell him to do it exactly.
