If i place a 30 mb pdf file to view with the pdf viewer, will this file take up space on the app partition or the larger general media partition. If it's with the former, is there a way I could transfer it to the larger partition? I tried using the "increasing the app limit" thingy, but when I add PDF files, when I use iTunes the "other" file size continues to increase. From my understanding, doesn't the "Other" size represent how much app space you've taken up or am I mistaken? Thanks for any help

It depends where you put said file.

It it is on the media partition, then it won't count against the 300mb.
If it is on the app partition, then it will.

it's on the var/root/Library partition. Could you tell me if that's part of the app or the media partition? Sorry if this question is stupid, I'm still trying to familiarize myself w/ this type of OS
