Noob question -- removing unwanted apps

    When I first jailbroke my ipod I installed a lot of crap I don't want any more i.e quake

    How can I go about getting rid of these apps?

    from the manage section in cydia, uninstall them.

    through where you installed them cydia or installer installed packages on installer and the manage tab in cydia

    SSH in and delete the .app folder from the Applications directory

    Well not really, thats how i got rid of Stocks so..... really no!

    wait you do realize that he might think you meant application as in the whole folder even if he did read it

    Well if someone where to delete their entire Applications folder they should'nt be messing around with SSH WITH ROOT!!

    I've got rid of 99% of my useless apps by uninstalling via cydia, i'm just left with the pool one which I probably instanned via installer, I can't find the manage option on installer

    On installer , I'm pretty sure you just find the app in the folders , then tap remove or whatever.
    I recommend not even using Installer though.
