I have searched for days and cannot find any definite answer. Is there a way to play videos on TV with a non-Apple cable. It is an audio/video cable, I do get audio, no video. Ipod Touch 2G16 gig. I have tried resupported, did not work at all (unless I am doing somthing wrong), TVOUT2-works but video freezes for 5-10 seconds every 30 seconds of playback. Neither program got rid of the "This is not an authorized accessory" warning. Is there any way to accomplish this? Thank you for any help!

I have never seen it ask "Display on TV". When should it say this and with what program? Here is a picture of the cable:

I've run into issues with non-oem where it will work again if i unplug and re-plug the cable during playback

What are you trying to do? The cable won't show what you're doing on the screen, it only shows YouTube or Videos.

I want to download some movies to my Ipod Touch and be able to play them on a TV. I don't need it to display anything else.

I'm pretty sure that I have that same cable. Works for ipod touch 32gig 3g using resupported. It is kinda finicky tho. I normally have to mess around with it for 5-10 min before it starts working tho.
