    Eh... I'm guilty by making one of those kind of threads :( you should mention that the "normal" way of restoring won't work and you need to use the shorter way (which involved plugging in the usb when holding the home). Well it's not the thread starter's fault entirely (notice how didn't use the word noob) if that person tried to search (hintmehint) and happened to find out that the search function is entirely retarded, they're screwed. Then the thread appears "OH NOES I BRICKED MY IPOD"
