I have the same problem. Seems like its varying from person to person, a friend of mine has no problems at all with the 2.0 update - but in my iPod, it seems like the wifi driver is not working at all - it is just searching for wifi with no results at all.. And I have tried a few times to restore, restart, etc to get it work without success.. Can someone bring op a succes story? I certainly hope so..

Yes, it sounds like there are a few bugs in this update. Hopefully apple will come through and fix them though.

Maybe It's mechanical not technical, make sure your ac adapter is connected into moden properly. I've done this and the wi-fi worked perfectly.

I have had this same problem and restored many times and still nothing. The wifi works because I have a Macbook using it now. What the F!? It is basically useless now.
