No White Screen

    when i plug my ipod back in after entering "irecovery -f iBSS211.dfu" i don't get a white screen like everyone says you should. The screen just stays the same plug into itunes screen. Can anyone help or know what im doing wrong?

    You're not in DFU mode.

    Must be in DFU Mode, then you un-plug and plug back in.

    ... No wonder its not been working... Hw do you get into DFU mode then?

    When your iPod is on, hold down the hold and home buttons at the same time, hold them both for ten second, then let go of the hold switch and continue holding the home button, iTunes should detect an iPod in recovery mode, at which point you can stop holding the home button, but your screen should be black with nothing on it.

    thanks reilly, i had that happen twice (black screen) but i thought i was supposed to have the plug into itunes logo, was getting really annoyed

    I dont get a white screen. I put it into DFU mode where it shows usb to itunes, then i do irecovery -f iBSS211.dfu and then i unplug and wait 10 seconds and replug but it doesn't show white screen
