What gives? Why isn't there a video recorder in the 3.0 firmware for my iPhone 3G ? I already updated but I can't seem to downgrade or jailbreak (many errors). I just updated to get the video recorder and jailbreaked mainly (but not only) for video recorder?

why isn't there a video recorder?!?

Some say Cycorder handles video fine, but I don't the video quality on the 3G would meet Apple's high standards.

Better processor + better camera = very good 3GS video quality

ok, but why isn't the app included in the firmware? At least they could have the app but it would generally just do worse video quality but still...

The screen is black when it redsn0w says its done. And sometimes its stuck at "waiting for reboot" but somehow I can get around it.

    I already said why.

That and the fact that Apple needs to differentiate the already seemingly similar 3G and 3GS

whats ur OS? vista? if so, you have to do the compatibility mode for XP, and run as administrator by right clicking. you then have to use a diff cable if its locking up at either the 1st/2nd "waiting for reboot" screen.

i had these problems last night.

also, for some reason, i had to redo DFU mode as well.
