Seems logical, they aren't going to adapt technology that hasn't been universally adopted yet. Once Intel and other companies begin to support it, then Apple have no reason not to really.

So... why hasn't Intel adopted it yet?

I don't think it's going to matter too much to the majority of people...
Honestly, I've never seen USB 3.0 in a computer, even when I was recently looking for a new one... It just isn't something needed at the time.

I haven't even updated to usb 2.0 yet. Yeah, it's extra fast or whatever, but I'm just not down for paying the extra cash for little speed boosts once a week.

they'll wait till everyone supports it and it becomes a standard until they incorporate it...But if they put in their computers AND iDevices, they maybe people would buy their computers so they could get this new feature...but on a mac, an iDevice syncs 10x faster than a PC anyways, so I guess who cares.

Well Apple still didn't introduce Bluray so 3.0 USB isn't surprising.

I don't think they'll support it until it's cheap enough (for them at least).
