    It seems that i may have lost my "slide to unlock" text. Which i dont entirely mind, but what i do mind is the fact that i can't replace i with something cool. It was missing before i recovered my ipod, but i figured it would come back after i recovered. (I restored for a bunch of reasons not just that

    Look for one of the tutorials on this forum that tell you how to change the "Slide To Unlock" Text. Please Search before you make a thread.

    I DID. that is the point. I know nearly every method on how to change it.( Maybe not all of them) I know about mystrings or entriegelkiller, and none of these have any effect on my "slide to unlock" text. Anymore methods maybe? and sorry if there is one

    First, see if any theme is running in Winterboard. If it is, then SSH into your iPod / iPhone, and go to /var/stash/ And there'll be a directory like Themes.sdfsdf. Now go to the directory of the theme you saw was running. Now you're at /var/stash/Theme.dsfghj/TheThemeThatIsRunning.theme

    Go to Bundles.
    Then com.apple.springboard
    Open the Springboard.strings file.

    Look for something like
    "AWAY_LOCK_LABEL" = ""

    Just add your text there, for example:-
    "AWAY_LOCK_LABEL" = "slide to unlock.."

    Hope I helped.

    Thanks for the help, but i still seem to be running into the problem. I tried amaan's method, but i can't figure out where exactly to go. Mostly because i'm using glasklart and it has several different things to search through. I found one thing with what resembled it, but there were about ten to fifteen of them and they were named "da.lproj, de.lprog, en.lprog, etc." Any help please

    Those are the languages that are specified there. But I belie that with MyStrings you can change the text of "slide to unlock". I hope I helped.

    Go to en.lproj if you use your default language as English. If not, just try figuring it out, for example, en represents English. In en.lproj just do the same as I told you already, hope it'll work.
