No service (AT&T)

    I have an iPhone 3G, with AT&T. Yesterday, I was foolish, and installed a 3.0 beta on my device, with iTunes 8.2. I had to downgrade to iTunes 8.1, DFU my iPhone, re-sync my music, and I have to re-DL my apps.

    The one thing is, even though my SIM Card is inserted (And I tried taking it out + putting it back in), I still have zero signal bars, and the AT&T carrier logo doesn't appear. What do I do?

    I think it has something to do with your BaseBand.

    Probably nothing you can do. You upgraded to a beta baseband which won't be downgrade-able on the 3G's for a long time, possibly never. A good choice would be to check your iPhones baseband and see what version it it. If you are on 5.8, you can downgrade. If you are on 5.9 or above, then you can not. Also, you can wait until 3.0 is released and update to that legally and see if that solves the issue.

    stop spamming with that, you said it in other threads also,

    OT: i think you sould wait till the 3.0 update is out, or take it to an apple store.
