No passcode

    i just bought a touch from my brother and i dont know the passcode nor can i ask him(he just got shipped off to boot camp)does anyone know of a way to to unlock it without the original computer?

    restore using DFU mode (search) or search "how to disable passcode protection"

    DFU Mode Restore or try every possible combination =P

    dont try every combination. it will lock your ipod so you cant use it unless you restore.

    stop telling people that Collateral.

    Dont do it like in a row...Like try 3 a day or something...

    At three a day it would take about 9 years....i think. And thats if you dont get the correct combo..ever.

    Download ziphone and boot it into DFU mode. Then restore in iTunes.
