    Hi,

I recently got an Ipod Touch 2g - being a Linux-user it only now primarily gave me (more) grey hair.

I can now upload music via SSH and play it in PwnPlayer selecting files under "files system". However, nothing appears under "Library". How can I fix this?

For any reply thanks in advance,
    dnh

PS: Nothing is seen under iTunes which, I guess, is related to Apple's intentions to make using an iPod cumbersome.

I think iTunes puts everything (the music) into some sort of database, which is why you cannot just drop files into the ipod, and (at least for the 4G), you had to use special software designed to access and rewrite the database if you wanted to upload songs that way.

you have to respring your iphone/ipod touch in order for the new files to show up.

make sure you have it in the correct directory.
i had this problem recentely today, because my itunes stopped working.
just respring, and you should see your new music
