Well today I was shopping online for a MacBook. I noticed the Mac tab showed the old white MacBook. I clicked on it and was brought to the old white MacBook page. It seems as though Apple has done away with calling the 13" MacBooks and are starting to put the 7 hour batteries and the backlit keyboards on what theyre labeling 13" MacBook pros. There is no difference between the previous aluminum MacBooks, only that they have back lighting and 7 hour batteries.

Did I miss something here? I searched for hours and couldnt find anything so point me somewhere if I missed it. I just thought this was kind of odd.

Also, the white macbooks aren't "old." They never went away to begin with. They've just received various hardware upgrades, and maybe a few design tweaks.

Personally, I dig the white. I like the feel and features of the aluminum MB's/MBP's, but can't stand the look or the durability of aluminum.

The 13" Macbook Pros got a Firewire 800 port as well.
